Sink Cleaning Hacks
Have you ever wondered how movie characters get up with flawless hair and gorgeous skin only to go to their Bathroom and clean their teeth while they look at their excellent reflection? These people do not have to take care of their bathrooms.
For those of us, not movie stars, you should brush your teeth by looking at the sink down instead of looking up at the mirror. While you’re brushing your teeth, it becomes foamy. And If you’re looking upward, the foamy toothpaste will splash all over the sink. If you turn your gaze down, the splatter of toothpaste will go towards or near your drainage, which makes it much easier to clean away. This means the sink won’t be soiled fast, and you won’t need to clean it as often.
Bathroom Cleaning Product Tips
I’ve been sharing this advice for years; however, when you apply an item, allow it to sit for a while. Most cleaning products are more effective if you let them rest for five or 10 minutes before returning to cleaning. It’s known as pre-treating with terms of cleaning or marinating in barbeque terminology.
This lets the device perform the task it was designed to accomplish and will not force you to exert as much effort. This is particularly important in bathrooms where it’s true that there are lots of bacteria that can be found on some surfaces. Therefore, let the product do its job by pre-treating your feelings before caring for it.
Toilet Cleaning Secrets
You may wonder if you can allow the product to sit in your toilet bowl when the bowl is filled with water. But I’ve got an expert cleaning trick to help you.
Utilize a toilet bowl plunger to force the water in the bowl through the chute. This will expose the bowl to have a better clean. You can then use sprays or treatments using your product and scrub. After you flush the bowl, it will be filled again. When I wash, I prefer to pretend that I’m fighting swords. However, that’s not necessary.
Cleaning Bathroom Floors
My Bathroom isn’t the most enjoyable place to be after having done my hair and style, and I make sure not to expose my family members to this, so I wash my bathroom floors frequently. When cleaning your bathroom floors, clean them first by vacuuming or sweeping, or, at the very least, take the time to wipe them off with your hands. Otherwise, you’ll push a wet mop and an enormous, disgusting hair pile beneath it.
Mopping floors in the Bathroom and not removing hair first will not produce good results. My bathroom floor rule is to Dry treat first and then clean the second.
Shower Grout Banisher
Clean grout lines are inevitable, but it doesn’t mean that you can’t endure them. The good news is that I’ve created an easy homemade grout cleaner recipe that you can whip up at home.
Make a paste by mixing two tablespoons of baking soda with one ounce of hydrogen peroxide. Apply the paste on the stained grout and use a cleaning toothbrush to scrub it away. Give it 10 to 15 minutes, then wash the grout clean. Baking soda, and hydrogen peroxide, bleach the grout lines, making them appear better and require less effort.
Use Your Bathroom Fan
The bathroom fan isn’t just an accent piece. Bathrooms are highly humid, making them the ideal habitat for fungi and mold. If you see the pink substance appearing on your shower curtains or the toilet bowl, It clearly indicates excessive humidity within your Bathroom.
Switch on your bathroom fan just before you shower, and keep it running to run for at least thirty minutes after you’ve finished. Your Bathroom should feel dry and not like a tropical getaway. If you don’t have a ventilator, open a window to let the air flow out. It is a good idea to ensure that your Bathroom should not be any more humid than other rooms in your home. If it’s damp it is, you’ll begin experiencing mildew and mold.
Bathroom Organization Tools
It’s great to have a spotless bathroom. However, it would be best if you had it to appear neat, also. I am a fan of using trays to accomplish this. Trays are helpful for spaces such as bathrooms because they permit you to store everything you need in one place.
I have many items I love to utilize in the Bathroom, and I struggled with the organization. The tray I now have is in the main bathroom, as Chad. Chad. We all put the little creams, bottles, and other cosmetics on our trays to give them an organized and neat appearance. If your Bathroom feels overwhelmed, read my post on cleaning out your Bathroom.
Bathroom Cleaning Maintenance
Have you ever had the chance to wash your Bathroom, immediately take to shower, and dry your hair? It’s like all that time you spent cleaning your Bathroom goes to waste!
Here’s my suggestion to keep your Bathroom clean. Set a towel down on the counter or floor before starting an unclean task within the Bathroom. I do this before when I style my hair or apply my makeup, and Chad does the same thing after shaving. So it’s all you need to do once you’re done is wrap the towel in a bundle and place it in the washer so your floor can remain spotless. Shower and Tub Maintenance
Like your bathroom counter and floor baths and showers, tubs, and showers can quickly become dirty. When you shower or bathe, body oils, moisture, the dead cells of your skin, and the products you use adhere to the walls and the glass of the shower and the tub.
