Survey Uncovers Motivations for Spring Cleaning

Harris Research, Inc. (H.R.I.), the parent company of Chem-Dry, conducted recent large consumer research to find out the reasons behind our cleaning habits. The study involved almost 700 participants aged 18-55 from all over the United States.

The study highlights include:

Health reasons were the top motivator for women aged 25-34 to clean their homes.

Most respondents said that spring was the worst season for allergies and asthma.

Eight out of ten respondents think that cleaning their homes is an effective way to eliminate allergens and relieve symptoms. Carpets, rugs, and tiles are the most common answers to the question of what part of the house they concentrate on the most to eliminate allergens. commissioned a laboratory study by an independent company to test the effectiveness and safety of Chem-Dry cleaning services.

The study highlights include:
