Get rid of the old felt or foam whiteboard erasers to ensure that all ink is removed. It doesn’t work well and can spread dirt, smudge the ink, or scratch the board. Use a microfibre towel instead of a traditional whiteboard eraser.

Rubber alcohol, as mentioned earlier, is a great and inexpensive cleaner for whiteboards. The surface is also sanitized. Use a solution with a concentration of 90 to 99% for deep-seated stains. For daily maintenance, 70% is usually sufficient.
