Saccade by Pia Murphy

Pia Murphy is a printmaker and ceramicist whose practice extends to the creation of wearable works. We recently launched her new exhibition, Saccade in the window of our sister space, Pieces of Eight Gallery. 

Now available online, Murphy has worked with clay as a medium to produce a series of sculptures, vessels and jewellery pieces. The subjects for her works range from animals and plants to abstractions and the minutia of everyday. Apparent in this exhibition is her varied approach to the medium and a continued interest in experimentation.
